RISK believe this makes the Construction Certificate virtual courses a better learning format

The online Open Book Exam is very different to the old format course and written exam. This is why RISK adapted their learning materials and the way their NEBOSH Construction Certificate course is taught online. It's been designed to provide the best preparation possible for the online assessment process - including preparing you for the Open Book Exam experience.

RISK delivers the Construction Certificate in a format to enhance your knowledge absorption

Typically the NEBOSH Construction Certificate Online is sat as a 9 day block. This means studying both everything back to back, then taking your open book exam some time later and managing your own revision.

To provide the best possible learning experience, RISK provides both the NC1 modules as 3 independent focused learning sessions.

Session one covers the basics of UK H&S Law and Management Systems. RISK approaches this with a 3 day immersive, blended course. It mixes the tutor led virtual classroom sessions, with e-learning tools designed to embed the understanding of what's important and why.
Session two is Identifying & Controlling Hazards. RISK approaches this with a 5 day engaging and interactive structured approach. Providing the knowledge in a realistic and practical format designed to make the learning a fun and enjoyable experience.
Finally a revision day, developed to pull everything together and prepare delegates for the Open Book Exam.

NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK) is probably the UK’s most widely respected and in-demand health and safety qualification for the construction industry. Many employers in construction and other related industries, such as utilities, find that the National Construction Certificate can improve the safety culture of their organisation. It provides a sound understanding of the principles of risk management.
