Why study the NEBOSH General Certificate Online with RISK?
► All assessments are now online, and by Open Book Exam, so you learn in a way which best prepares you for the examination process.
► It’s more convenient, more time studying with less time and expense travelling – see course dates and prices!
► Our General Certificate pass rates have been consistently higher than the national average since 2015, probably because of the unique RISK support!
Whether you study for the General Certificate in a physical classroom or in a virtual classroom via video conference - your knowledge is assessed as an online Open Book Exam.
RISK believe this makes the General Certificate virtual courses a better learning format
The online Open Book Exam is very different to the old format course and written exam. This is why RISK adapted their learning materials and the way their NEBOSH General Certificate course is taught online. It's been designed to provide the best preparation possible for the online assessment process - including preparing you for the Open Book Exam experience.
RISK deliver the General Certificate in a format to enhance your knowledge absorption
Typically the NEBOSH General Certificate Online is sat as a 10 day block. This means studying both NG1 and NG2 modules back to back, then taking your exam and submitting a practical Risk Assessment and Written Report 10 days after your online course ends.
To provide the best possible learning experience RISK provide both modules as independent courses. This means you study your NG1 5 day online course and take an Open Book Exam shortly after - whilst the knowledge is focused and fresh. Then you can choose to take a break from studying, or move on immediately to take your NG2 5 day online course. The NG2 is assessed by submitting a practical Risk Assessment and Written Report 10 days after your online course ends.
